Small and efficient, the led gu10

The led technology grew practically overnight. It’s a way of the future some said. When led technology first appeared it was in prestigious television sets and computer monitors. It was a lot more expensive than the usual television set and some worried that it might not live to expand. But they all were mistaken, since now the led technology replaced almost everything regarding image projection and light projection.

When led monitors first appeared they were almost twice as expensive as the regular ones, and now they are the standard. That is because they are economical, and eco friendly. For example the led light bulb, the model led gu10 to be precise. It shines in the way to copy the sunlight specter and not to copy the ordinary light bulb. Plus long exposure to led gu10 will not harm your skin or your eyes, so it's healthy to be around. Also when it is destroyed it does not let out mercury and so it's good for the nature.

The advantages are numerous. This light bulb proves my point how led technology is starting to be used in all spheres of science. The only problem with the led gu10 is that it is rather expensive so procuring one of these will set you back few more bucks than when you buy the ordinary one. But time will fix that I am sure of it. It’s a great product and it will be the base of many new and even better products in the future.

New Material

Foo Fighters frontman and all-round nicest man in the rock 'n' roll world Dave Grohl has hinted that the Foos are ready to get to work on a new album.

Dave posted a news piece on the band's official site and blog summing up the Foo Fighters' hectic 2011, but he also gave us an insight of what's to come in 2012.

"We're not finished yet. There are still more shows to play, more songs to write, more albums to record, for years to come. I mean, if you would have told me 17 years ago that in 2012 I would be writing songs for our eighth studio album, well, if it weren't for you guys, we wouldn't be here. We owe you so much."

The Foo Fighters released their seventh studio album 'Wasting Light', in April this year. I have all of the Foo Fighters' studio albums and B sides and whatever else I've been able to find stored on my mp3 player, my r4 card on my Nintendo DS and my phone as well, I have to have the Foos with me at all times!

UK during the Blitz

During the Blitz, the cities of the United Kingdom had to develop mechanisms to defend themselves from air-raids. As aircraft technology improved in the 1930s, contemporaries speculated that a war might product up to 600,000 across the United Kingdom. Convinced that “the bomber will always get through”, politicians and officials scrambled to organise civil defence after imagining grim scenes of hospitals overrun with patients, floods of refugees, and social breakdown. In November 1934 Winston Churchill said to the House of Commons: “We must expect that, under the pressure of continuous attack upon London, at least three or four million people would be driven out into the open country around the metropolis”.

Despite widespread fears that air-raids would destroy Britain, the government was largely inactive in terms of protecting the population. Indeed, much of the civil defence preparations were left in the hands of local authorities. Government inaction reflected their hope that war could be avoided or that Britain’s bomber force would deter raids. Many of the local authorities moved too slowly which led to insufficient numbers of shelters in towns such as Birmingham and Belfast, the latter having just space for a quarter of its population in April 1941. I don’t think Crocs discount codes would have been of much help.

If I won the lottery...

When I went to check my lottery numbers this week I found that I hadn’t won any money but no problem, I’m still hoping for a lottery win before Christmas in order to payoff my mortgage. Half way to owning my own home I could do with that last cash injection to make the bricks and mortar all mine. But what I do enjoy about playing the lottery is the excitement and anticipation that you do get just before you check your lottery numbers, the prospect that a few numbered balls could change your life forever. Wining the lottery creates the opportunity to live a life of leisure, take an early retirement, or a stake in your favorite football club. However badly they perform! All things that I could wholeheartedly embrace at this present moment in my life making sure that I could maybe put something towards the children massive university fees thanks to the coalition government policies. But anyway I will continue to check my lottery numbers and continue in the hope that one day everything will change. I just hope that I never miss read the numbers or forget to play and miss out on that life changing moment which I know is just around the corner.

iPod R.I.P.

I don't know what happened, but my iPod has died!

It's an 80GB iPod with 60GB used up, so pretty chock full of stuff, and I was listening to it on my way to work,
I realised it was low on battery, so I turned it off and plugged it into my laptop to charge.

A while later a message popped up saying the iPod couldn't be read and maybe there was a problem with it, or it could be corrupted. I looked at the iPod and it was resetting itself, so I left it to reboot and let it charge.

When it was done I went to my Playlists and it said 'No Music'. My heart dropped. I clicked through to the info and settings bar and it said 'Zero KB available'. I could've cried, all my music gone! My poor iPod dead! I listen to it almost every day I don't know how I'll survive.

It's old so I don't have any warranty I can call on, I'm having to listen to music through my r4 card on my Nintendo DS, which is fine, but I want that to be full of games not my many gigabytes of music!
