Foo Fighters frontman and all-round nicest man in the rock 'n' roll world Dave Grohl has hinted that the Foos are ready to get to work on a new album.
Dave posted a news piece on the band's official site and blog summing up the Foo Fighters' hectic 2011, but he also gave us an insight of what's to come in 2012.
"We're not finished yet. There are still more shows to play, more songs to write, more albums to record, for years to come. I mean, if you would have told me 17 years ago that in 2012 I would be writing songs for our eighth studio album, well, if it weren't for you guys, we wouldn't be here. We owe you so much."
The Foo Fighters released their seventh studio album 'Wasting Light', in April this year. I have all of the Foo Fighters' studio albums and B sides and whatever else I've been able to find stored on my mp3 player, my r4 card on my Nintendo DS and my phone as well, I have to have the Foos with me at all times!
